Hurrah! it seems that Samsung have finally chosen to release drivers for these robust printers for Windows & in both 32 and 64 bit flavours:

I recently upgraded my main system to Windows 7 and was somewhat annoyed to find that my Samsung ML-4500 does not have Windows 7 drivers for the 64bit version. I figured that the Vista 64 bit drivers might work and indeed they do, but there is a catch - the executable installer file refuses to run. So to get them working you need to do the following:

"A Downing Street petition is calling for the UK government to drop Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) and move to a more modern browser.


The petition says that IE6 has security flaws and uses outdated technology, creating a burden for developers"- BBC


Battery recycling rules in force for stores

New EU rules have come into force that require some stores selling batteries to provide in-store recycling bins.
The UK currently recycles only 3% of portable batteries, but the aim is to raise that figure to 45% by 2016. - BBC
